Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Dosy Health mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

The following features require internet connectivity to function:

• Food Database Search: Searching for foods queries the FatSecret database online
• AI Meal Analysis: Photo-based and voice-based meal logging sends data to Anthropic's Claude API for nutritional estimation
• AI Data Import: Imported files are processed by Anthropic's Claude API for parsing
• AI Progress Insights: Health data is processed by Anthropic's Claude API for personalized insights
• Ask Dosy AI Coach: Chat messages and a small set of non-identifying tracking numbers are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalized coaching responses
• Voice Logging: Voice input is transcribed using platform speech recognition (Apple Speech Recognition on iOS, Google Speech Recognition on Android)
• Cloud Sync: Syncing data across devices uses iCloud (iOS) or Firebase (Android)

Offline Access: Previously logged meals, weight history, medication tracking, and all local data remain accessible without internet. You can continue to log data manually offline.

Dosy Health is designed as a data tracking and reference tool and is not a substitute for independent medical judgment or professional healthcare advice. All health decisions, including medication changes, should be made in consultation with qualified healthcare professionals.

• Medication level estimates are based on the data you enter and general pharmacokinetic models
• AI-powered nutritional estimates are helpful approximations - feel free to adjust them
• When in doubt about health decisions, consult your healthcare provider

The following features are powered by artificial intelligence:

AI Meal Tracking (Photo & Voice)

• When you log meals via photo, the image is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to identify food items and estimate nutritional information (calories, protein, carbs, fat)
• When you log meals via voice, the transcribed text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for food identification and nutritional estimation
• Only the photo or voice transcription is sent for analysis

AI Data Import Processing

• When you use the "Import Data" feature, your uploaded file (CSV, JSON, or Text) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to parse and convert the data for import into your Dosy Health account
• Only the file contents are sent for processing

AI Progress Insights

• Dosy Health uses AI to generate personalized progress insights based on your health data (weight trends, nutrition patterns, medication adherence)
• This data is processed via Anthropic's Claude API to provide meaningful feedback

Ask Dosy AI Coach

• Ask Dosy is a chat-based AI coach for your GLP-1 journey. It can answer questions about your progress, dose, side effects, nutrition, and how the app works, and it can do basic medication math like converting mg to syringe units
• To give you personalized answers, a small set of non-identifying tracking numbers is sent with your messages, including current weight, weight change, goal weight, last dose, dose cadence, vial inventory, recent side effects, today's nutrition totals, and your daily calorie and macro targets
• Nothing that identifies you is shared. Your name, email, birth date, location, and progress photos all stay private
• Ask Dosy is for informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. It will never tell you to change, stop, or start a medication on your own
• For any medication decisions, dose changes, or concerning symptoms, you should consult your healthcare provider. Ask Dosy will direct you to your provider or urgent care any time something sounds severe or unusual
• Conversations are not stored on our servers and are never used to train AI models

Other Features

• Voice Transcription: Voice input is first processed locally using platform speech recognition (Apple Speech Recognition on iOS, Google Speech Recognition on Android), then the transcription may be sent to Anthropic for food analysis
• Barcode Scanning: Product barcodes are looked up in the FatSecret database (no AI involved)
• Nutritional estimates are approximate and should not be relied upon for medical purposes
• You retain all rights to photos you take within the app

Dosy Health's AI features are powered by Anthropic (anthropic.com), a third-party AI service provider:

• Data Retention: Anthropic's data retention period is 30 days for API inputs and outputs. All data sent to Anthropic is automatically deleted within 30 days.
• No AI Training: Anthropic does NOT use API customer data for model training. Your data is never used to improve or train AI models.
• Privacy: For more information about how Anthropic handles data, see Anthropic's Privacy Policy at anthropic.com/privacy

iOS - Apple Health (HealthKit)

• Dosy Health reads and writes health data to Apple Health (HealthKit) with your explicit permission
• Nutritional data from Apple Health (calories, protein, carbs, fat) may be imported and displayed within the app
• Dosy Health does NOT sell, share, or transfer Apple Health data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose
• Apple Health data is stored locally on your device and synced only to your private iCloud account (if enabled)
• You can revoke Apple Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings

Android - Health Connect

• Dosy Health reads and writes health data to Health Connect with your explicit permission
• Nutritional data from Health Connect (calories, protein) may be imported and displayed within the app
• Dosy Health does NOT sell, share, or transfer Health Connect data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose
• You can revoke Health Connect permissions at any time in Android Settings

Dosy Health offers optional premium features through Dosy Pro, available as an auto-renewable subscription:

iOS - App Store

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their App Store refund policies

Android - Google Play

• Payment is charged to your Google account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in Google Play Store settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription
• Refunds are handled by Google according to their Google Play refund policies

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal activity
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Resell, distribute, or commercially exploit the app
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Use the app as a diagnostic or treatment tool without professional medical oversight

The app content, design, and code are owned by Nora Technologies LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The "Dosy" name and branding are proprietary. All rights in the app remain with Nora Technologies LLC.

You retain ownership of your personal health data and any content you create within the app.

Dosy Health is a tracking tool designed to help you on your health journey. While we work hard to make it useful and reliable, please keep in mind:

• Health decisions should always be made with your healthcare provider
• We can't guarantee the app will be perfect or available 100% of the time
• Nutritional and medication estimates are approximations, not medical advice
• AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only

You can stop using Dosy Health anytime by simply deleting the app. If needed, we may discontinue the app or restrict access, but we'll try to give you notice when possible.

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
